Kieran labels love triangle story “ridiculous”

10 Feb, 2012 08:11 AM
FORMER The Farmer Wants a Wife bachelor, local man Kieran Davidson, was this week fending off national media as he stood accused of being involved in a feud with NRL Cronulla Sharks footballer Todd Carney.

The feud allegedly surrounded his breakup from Nine Network publicity assistant Jana Hocking.

Kieran told The Young Witness that contrary to various national print media reports there was no beef between him and the footballer.

“I barely know Todd, he was a great friend of Jana but I had very little to do with him – and as for a so called ‘love triangle’ that is most ridiculous thing I have heard – it is honestly nothing but gossip,” Kieran said.

“There is a lot of things being written and said – most of which is incorrect and very far from the truth,” he added.

The 25-year-old, who is back living and working on the family property, said he has matured a lot and is looking for more than what he’s had in the past.

“I will admit that I was once a boy who liked to have a ‘good time’ – but I have grown up a lot since then – and those days are gone,” he said.

When speaking to The Witness this week, Kieran said his relationship, that began midway through last year, was ‘just not working’ and that is the real reason it ended.
