BETWEEN midnight and 6am on October 29 an unknown offender cut a hole in a fly screen in a block of units to gain entry to the home. With the occupants home, in bed asleep, the offender stole a handbag containing a wallet and other personal items. The following morning the victim found her handbag in the backyard with contents remaining missing. In the same block of units at the same time, another resident was broken into and handbag stolen, again containing wallet and various other personal items. The victim also woke to find her handbag in the backyard with contents still missing. Anyone with information is urged to contact Young police on 6382 8199 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

Between 4pm on October 28 and 5.15am on October 29 offenders opened an unlocked security screen door and began throwing rocks at the main door. This caused damage to the timber and paint work. Anyone with information is urged to contact Young police on 6382 8199 or Crimestoppers on 1800 333 000.

On October 22 at about 2pm a Young resident was gardening in her backyard when she heard her screen door slam. On returning to her house, the victim found all jewellery items from the house stolen. At about 10am on October 31 the victim located all stolen jewellery items under her front door mat. The resident informed police and the items have been recovered.
