Early Saturday morning police from Young arrested a 23-year-old man in Boorowa Street after he was verbally abusive and swearing at police. It was later revealed the man had assaulted a number of people at a local hotel prior to coming into contact with the police. The man was intoxicated and charged with three counts of assault and one of offensive language. He will face Young Local Court on December 8.

About 11pm on Saturday night police arrested a 15-year-old youth in Zouch Street, Young in relation to being observed by police to jump on a number of parked motor vehicles in the area. Police took the youth home where he was spoken to regarding the damage to the two motor vehicles. He will now be referred for action under the Young Offenders Act.
