Over 60 former and current radio 2LF staff members attended the 75th reunion celebrations in Young last weekend, including many former managers and on-air personalities.

Although the station commenced broadcasting on February 16, 1938, this weekend was selected to allow more former staff to attend the reunion functions, which commenced on Friday night with a meet and greet at the Young Services Club, followed by a station tour and morning tea on Saturday morning.
Saturday afternoon visitors were treated to a town and winery bus tour, with many amazed at the beauty of the town and how much it has grown since their time at 2LF.
The reunion dinner was held in The Flamingos Room at the Young Services Club on Saturday night with guests treated to a trip down memory lane as former managers and announcers took a turn behind the microphone again to relive their time at 2LF and in Young.
Former managers included John Finlayson, John Ringwood and John Thompson, along with former announcers Steve Hart, Rhohan Smith, Andrew Clerihew, Boyd Duncan, Ben Bamford, Greg Willmette and Win News editor B.J. Conkey.
The honor of cutting the 75th anniversary birthday cake was undertaken by John Finlayson, Yvonne Graham ( Yvonne Symons) and John Thompson.
The weekend wound up with a barbecue brunch at the Chinese Tribute Gardens on Sunday morning.
