We saw some great performances from all teams with all the children loving the wet and muddy grounds to play in.
This week will see our inter town competition games played on Friday night due to the rep teams travelling to Junee on Saturday.
If you did not have your team photo taken last week, we will be taking them on Friday night before your games. Please remember to have your children there half an hour before your game time. If you are to play at 6pm please come at 5.30pm this will allow time for the photos and warm up before your games.
Please remember to hand your game sheets in at the end of your game. Also all rep reports will be now given or emailed to Andrew or Brooke McIllhatton so they can be placed in the paper. Thanks!
In U7s first game we saw the Broncos up against the Sharks, with the game ending in a draw. This was a great game with top defence for the Broncos.
Travis Skelton, Noah Dalmolin, Drew Edwards, Brennan Healy and Nic Cannellis all showed great defence with some good hard tackles.
Nic Powderly and Hardy Glover made some fantastic runs.
Tries scored for the Broncos went to Nic Powderly (4) and Hardy Glover (1), with Nic Powderly, Hardy Glover and Travis Skelton all converting one goal each.
Man of the match for the Broncos went to Travis Skelton.
The Sharks defended well will some big tackles by Rhys Carnley and Nate Cullen. Zack Corcoran, Cooper Smith and Edward Maloney showed strong in their defence. Sharks Jack Apps and Alex Pratt made some great runs.
Tries scored for the sharks went to Alex Pratt (3), Rhys Carnley (1) and Jack Apps (2) with Alex Pratt converting one goal.
Man of the match for the Sharks went to Rhys Carnley.
In the second game we saw the Eels take on the Panthers. For the Eels this was a great game played by all.
Nate Teid, Tarrick Khdor, Riley Pullen, Charlie Moore, Braxon Anderson, Jesse Jewitt and Thomas Hall all made some good hard tackles. Tyler Hambrook and Jack Donges made strong runs.
Tries scored for the Eels went to Tyler Hambrook (4) and Jack Donges (1), with Riley Pullen converting a much needed goal.
Man of the match for the Eels went to Darcy Spring for his fantastic all round game.
In U9s first game we saw the Storm take on the Warriors, with this game ending in a 24 all draw.
Lochie Pratt was outstanding scoring three tries with John Kidd also getting a try. Jack, Abe, Brodie and Lochie all kicked a goal.
It was a great game to watch with all the kids playing great football in the conditions.
Chris and Josh were fantastic for the Storm up front with Cooper, Nick and Riley all making some awesome tackles on the much bigger Warrior players.
In the second game the Rabbitohs came up against Manly. This match seen Manly play the best game they have played all year.
The boys defended really well, with Samuel Steed, Kyle Walsh, Zachary Shepard, Corey Lucas and Campbell Cummins completing some hard tackles.
Tries scored for Manly went to Charlie Croker (1), Locke Croker (1), Brock Sing (3) and Clay Sing (2). Charlie Croker, Samuel Steed, Locke Croker, Brock Sing and Clay Sing all converted 1 goal each.
Man of the match for Manly went to Samuel Steed.
In U11s first game saw the Roosters take on the Knights with the knights winning.
In the first half of this game we saw great defence from both teams keeping the score at 10-all.
It was the second half that the Knights proved to strong for the Roosters.
For the Roosters they seen the return of Harvey McGregor who had a strong comeback and impact on the Roosters performance. Harvey was strong in defence and made a lot of yards all game!
Harry Fitzpatrick. Thomas McIllhatton, Ethan Pye, Nate McGregor, kynan Davis and Cooper Morrison all made some fantastic runs and were great in defence. Johnny Douglas, Jonah Mugridge, Jayden Murphy and Arvin Mendozer made some awesome tackles throughout the game. Kynan Davis defended well all day with great low tackles. Jayden Murphy ran hard all game.
Tries scored for the Roosters went to Harry Fitzpatrick (1) and Harvey McGregor (1) with Harry Fitzpatrick converting one goal.
Man of the match for the Roosters went to Harvey McGregor.
In the second game we saw the Tigers up against the Bulldogs with the Tigers coming away with a well deserved win!
The Tigers played a great game, with all the boys strong in attack and strong in defence.
Cody Hall, Will Steed, Patty Sellars and Angus Jones made some strong runs throughout the game. Ethan Newham, Jordan Foster and Josh Anderson all made some awesome tackles. Try saving and game winning tackle by Campbell Harden.
Tries scored for the Tigers went to Angus Jones (2), Jordan Foster (1) and Cody Hall (1) with Josh Anderson and Ethan Newham converting one goal each.
Man of the match for the Tigers went to Ethan Newham for his all round great game.
For the Bulldogs we seen Noah Forbutt the smallest man on the field but defended like a freight train, full of hard tackles.
Charlie Corcoran lead some great defence. Tries scored by the Bulldogs went to Noah Forbutt (1), Cooper Powderly (1) and Mitch Prest (1) with Ben Baker, Kai Langfield and Matt Noakes all converting 1 goal each.
Man of the match for the Bulldogs went to Charlie Corcoran.
