Officers attached to Strike Force Bumble - established after Mr Power’s brutal death - executed a warrant at the premises in Blackett Avenue about 12.15pm yesterday.
A white Holden Commodore, which appeared to be hidden behind the house, was loaded onto a truck and taken from the property.
Cootamundra Local Area Command Crime Manager, Detective Inspector Paul Huxtable, confirmed the vehicle had been seized under the authority of a warrant.
Inspector Huxtable didn’t give any indication as to what connection the car had with the murder but said it was part of continuing investigations.
“The strike force is still going ... and will be for some time,” Inspector Huxtable said.
“(There is) still a lot of investigative footwork to do.”
Meanwhile, police continue to wait for the Queensland court system to deal with outstanding criminal charges of a man they want extradited in relation to Mr Power’s murder.
Owen Fuller faced Brisbane Magistrates Court on November 28 over unrelated charges of robbery with an act of violence and two counts of robbery.
Fuller’s case has been adjourned to Monday, with no pleas entered.
The suspect’s extradition back to NSW cannot proceed until the charges are finalised
It is expected once extradition proceedings are complete, murder charges will be laid.
