KERRIE Anne Ainsworth of Hill Street Young was convicted of drink driving in Young Local Court last week.
Ainsworth was fined $400, disqualified from driving for six months and ordered to pay $81 in court costs.
The 24-year-old was charged with special range drink driving by Young Highway Patrol.
Indecent assault
JOHN Lynford Coulson of Elizabeth Street Young was appeared before Magistrate Peter Dare at Young Local Court last week charged with indecent assault.
Coulson pleaded guilty to the assault which involved a victim under the age of 16.
In convicting the 29-year-old, Mr Dare placed him on a good behaviour bond for 18 months.
$381 fine for P-plater
KRISTY-LEE Dixon will regret not displaying her P-plates after being fined $381 and disqualified from driving by Magistrate Peter Dare in Young Local Court last week.
The 29-year-old female who resides at the Aussie Hotel in Boorowa Street was also charged with novice range drink driving – first offence.
Raft of charges for local man
Joseph Wayne Kelleher, 30, of Young, pleaded guilty to common assault, intimidate police officer in execution of duty, resist officer in execution of duty, and destroy or damage property.
The charges were the result of a drunken altercation at the Mill Tavern early in the morning of
New Year’s Day.
Kelleher was given a 12 month supervised good behaviour bond.
Caught drink driving seven times
Darren Fensom, 39, of Young, was found guilty of driving with a low range PCA, and Drive while disqualified.
Fensom was fined $600 and ordered to pay $81 in court costs.
He was also suspended for a further six months for the PCA offence with a six month licence suspension for the PCA.
He was also fined $600 for drive while disqualified, and given a further 12 month driving disqualification.
This is Fensom's seventh drinking driving charge.
Car crashes into residential fence
Around 4am on Sunday, a vehicle - possibly dark green in colour - crashed into a rear lane fence of a Demondrille Street residence and left the location without reporting the matter to the owner of the fence.
Police are reminding motorists they have an obligation to stop and report the matter to either the police or exchange their details with the property owner.

Tool stolen from Kingsvale shed
Sometime between 1:45pm on Thursday and 9:15am on Saturday, offender/s have gained entry to a shed on a Kingsvale Road property in Young and stolen a chainsaw and carburettor.
Meanwhile, a premises on Elizabeth Street in Young was also targeted between 6pm on Thursday and 11am on Friday.
Two foldup chairs and a disabled parking sticker were stolen from a garage at the premises.

Cafe windows smashed
A number of windows of the Old School House Cafe on Campbell Street in Young were damaged late last week.
The incident occurred sometime between 6:30pm on Thursday and 8:00am Friday.

Cars damaged at dealership
McAlister Motors on Zouch Street in Young was targeted sometime between 6pm Thursday and 8am Friday when two vehicles - a Black Ford Mondeo and a Black Falcon XR6 - were damaged.

Leather and Lace Ball
AT the May meeting of the Young Cherry Festival committee Bikers Australia representative Mark Wells announced they are organising a Leather and Lace Ball to be held on Saturday, December 1. The event is hoping to attract a top line artist to perform along with Uluru. The event will be limited to 500 persons. Fireworks for the night may be possible too.
