In the Kalyx T20 Slam between Young Town Hall Newsagency and Boorowa under 10s the batsmen dominated the bowlers on both sides with Lachlan Pratt 16 not out, Clancy Hislop 15 and Cameron Job 14 for Town Hall News and for Boorowa Daniel Canellis 12 not out, Harvey Gay 15 not out and Tristan Summerfield 10.
Tristan had a huge game also taking two wickets.
In the SWSCU Under 12s Smash ‘n’ Bash Boorowa took on Schoies Plumbing and batting first managed a respectable seven for 60, with Matt Canellis top scoring with 17 not out.
They had to contend with a red hot bowling line up lead by Ethan Newham with three wickets for just one run.
Ethan had a man of the match performance also top scoring with the bat with 13 not out and the rest of the runs spread evenly throughout the whole team.
Schoies taking the win finishing the match at three for 71.
In the other match between Powderly’s Electrical and Young Sportspower no scores were available but I am told it was a very tight match with Powderly’s taking the win by 1 run.
The scorers were probably so nervous at the end they are still double checking them.
In the Donges IGA Junior 15s, Corbetts Tyre & Battery played Carruthers Machinery with Corbettts batting first.
Nic Hall with 21 and Jack Corbett with 12 were the top scorers.
Zac Cummins was looking good early with seven but a fantastic direct hit run out from Charlie Crisp brought Zac undone.
Daniel Parker was the top wicket taker for Carruthers with 2 for 12.
Carruthers took to the crease and some good early batting by Sam Davis 24 not out, followed up by Justin Flannery 12 not out and Daniel Parker 16 not out helped Carruthers get the win.
Jack Corbett and James Reimer were the only wicket takers for Corbetts.
The Young Services Club Milo In2Cricket had their final session on Monday the March 10, followed by a presentation of medallions to all players.
Most players were in attendance and really appreciated the medallions, chips and fruit boxes they received at the end of the season.
All players had plenty of fun throughout the season and thanks to Brendan Croese and the other parents who helped out each week.
The final matches will be as follows which includes third & fourth placed teams playing in a consolation final in the Smash n Bash Under 12s and the T20 Slam Under 10s.

If matches go ahead as planned with the two older age group grand finals at Gus Smith Oval they will be followed by the presentations and Barbeque for players.
If matches are moved due to wet weather the presentations and Barbeque will be held at Keith Cullen Oval.
Presentations will be made to best and fairest players from each team in the competition as well as winners and runner-up trophies.
I would encourage all players to attend and enjoy the barbeque and celebrate another great season of Junior Cricket where we encourage maximum participation by all players.
I hope you had a great season and will see you and your mates back next summer.
See you out there somewhere
