The Demons came back from 37 points down at quarter-time on Friday night against South Fremantle, to win by five points at Fremantle Oval.

And in doing so they maintain top spot on the WAFL table – albeit with three games of round 2 still to play.

Callum Collard booted five goals to lead scoring for the Demons, while 10 players made it on to the scoreboard.

Two of the three Morton brothers kicked two goals (Mitch and Cale) while all three of them (Jarryd) had 18 disposals apiece.

Dene White had the most possessions for Perth, with 24, while Mitchell Leyendekkers impressed again with 41 hit-outs, against South Fremantle’s former AFL ruckman James Sellar.

For the Bulldogs, Marlon Pickett had 26 touches and kicked three goals, Ryan Cook had 25 possessions and Tim Kelly 24.

Unfortunately for the Dogs, after kicking eight goals in the opening term, they could manage a total of six between the second and third terms.

West Perth will be without premiership player Marc Crisp for the next two games due to suspension.

Crisp copped the ban after being found guilty of rough conduct against East Fremantle’s Sam Read in their 3-point loss last week.

Crisp is the only out from the Falcons side that will meet Claremont, who is looking to bounce back after it was smashed by Perth in round one.

The Tigers have made four changes.

Subiaco welcomes back former captain Kyal Horsley for its Geraldton clash with East Fremantle.

Horsley played 14 AFL games in the past two seasons with Gold Coast, but managed just one game in 2013.

Both the Lions and Sharks enjoyed wins in round one and have taken the same squads (added three to preliminary extended squads) to the country clash.

East Perth may have lost four West Coast-listed players for this week’s clash with Swan Districts, but the Royals have gained three handy additions from their AFL-affiliated club.

Out go Brad Shappard, Scott Lycett, Simon Tunbridge and Brant Colledge. Shappard has been chosen for higher duties, while Lycett and Colledge have been named as emergencies for the Eagles clash with Melbourne at the MCG on Sunday.

In for East Perth are Dom Sheed, Blayne Wilson and Pat McGinnity, who returns from suspension.

The Royals came back from two goals down in the 2013 first semi-final to beat the Swans by 28 points.

The Black and Whites have named just 12 players from that side for this clash.

Missing are Kyle Hams, Thomas Roach, Shaun Hildebrandt, Brett Robinson, Wayde Twomey, Dayle Garlett, Rory Lobb, Andrew Embley, Charlie Cameron and Jamie Bennell.
