Firstly the April medal winners were Simon Oakes in A Grade with 69 nett, Josh Platt won B Grade on 67 nett and Nick Apps won C Grade with 72 nett.
The medals were sponsored by Harvey Norman.
The elite scratch winners were Alan Wilder in A Grade with 73, Josh Platt won B Grade with 81 and Paul Flynn won C Grade with 90.
The John Hobson Electrical and Air Conditioning putting competition saw Dean Schofield win A Grade with 25 putts, Wayne Honeman won B Grade with 26 putts and Mick Webb won C Grade with 29 putts.
The Terry Brothers secret birdie was won by Mark McCormick (seventh hole).
The Watson Toyota NTP winners were Wayne Honeman and Dean Schofield.
The Richard Mellish Insurance Services card draw was not won.
On Sunday the medley, sponsored by Young Hardware, saw Kyle Williams win with 36 points on a countback from Josh Platt. Balls to 33 points.
The Medal of Medals playoff on Saturday saw Ron Thompson finish in first place on 68 nett.
Paul Blizzard was second also on 68 nett. Alan Wilder finished third on 70, followed by Wayne Honeman on 70, Dave Taylor 71, John Hobson 72, Col Blizzard 72, Geoff Connelly 73, Aaron Moloney 73, Jason Nolan 73, Dean Schofield 74, Ian Broderick 75, Richard Apps 76, Shaun Rolfe 77, Luke Branighan 77, Mark Crutcher 80, Tim Langford 83 and Jarrod Harding 87 nett.
The elite scratch winners for 2013-14 were Joel Shields 65, Ian Broderick won B Grade with 76 and Luke Branigan won C Grade with 81.

The Young Social Golf Club played in Radars day on Sunday and Bob Harvey won with 31 nett (loses two), Lloyd Foley was second on 32 nett (loses two), and Simon Murray was next best on 35 nett.
Peter Delahunty won the NTP on the seventh, Rob Harvey won the straight drive, Ashley Guy won the Bradman and Jim Delahunty was the only gobble winner on the third.
Rob Harvey won the putting competition with 12 putts.
Nineteen players participated.
All members of the social golf club are reminded their membership of $30 is due before the end of April.
The trip to Leeton is scheduled for May 24 and 25 and deposits are due also.
On Wednesday Alan Moore, with 40 points was the winner on a countback from John Hobson.
Ian Tierney had 38, Max Gilbert 38, Garry Anderson 37, and David Martens 37.
Balls to 32 points on a countback.
Michele Blizzard won the jackpot card draw.
Next Saturday the event is a four ball ‘Twister’ sponsored by Barry Gaal and Gaal’s Transport, and Sunday’s medley will be sponsored by Wal Bronar.
Over Easter there will be sponsored events on all four days.
The Saturday event will be a four ball and Sunday a single (medley), and both days the sponsors will be Terry Bros Carpet Court.
This coming weekend Tumut Golf Club will be holding the Jerry Stolhand Memorial over two days.
Here at Young, Phil Cartwright will be running a junior golf workshop from April 14-17 inclusive.

The Veteran Open Tournament is on Tuesday, April 29 with events for all – men/ladies veterans and non-veterans.
Sponsors are Young Tyrepower, Ray White Real Estate, Brian Maroney Betta Electrical, Fred O’Reilly Painting, KFT Contracting (ACT) and the Golf Club.
The day will include a two course lunch and we hope for support from members.
