The Duchess of Cambridge has taken advantage of the royal couple's designated day off by playing with young Prince George on the lawns outside Government House in Canberra.

The duchess left the main entrance of Yarralumla late on Monday morning and walked towards the lake with her son tucked up in a stroller.
The pair eventually returned to the lawns and enjoyed 20 minutes of mother-and-son time. Security seemed light, with personnel giving the duchess time to explore the grounds.
She took the young prince out of the stroller, gave him a ride on her shoulders and playfully threw him in the air.
Earlier, the duke and duchess strolled there together swapping their formal wear for jeans.
They were spotted walking hand-in-hand through the well- manicured Yarralumla lawns on Monday morning.
The royal couple are midway through their tour of Australia. They travel to Uluru on Tuesday and Adelaide on Wednesday, before returning to Canberra.
When they return, they will plant a tree at the National Arboretum on Thursday and attend Anzac Day commemorations on Friday and plant a Lone Pine at the Australian War Memorial.
