Competitors came from throughout the eastern seaboard of Australia and rode 542 tests in front of judges from throughout Australia and New Zealand.
The grounds were magnificent and an excellent exhibitor village was there for spectators and riders alike to do some retail therapy.
The ground clearly benefitted from the work of the volunteers who had sprayed, erected stables and managed to organise this marvellous event.
The championships started on Good Friday promptly at 8.30am and kicked off with the Junior Preliminary 1.1 in Arena 2.
The other five sand arenas were up and running by 9am and the day focussed on the Prep tests, junior and pony preliminary, preliminary and novice tests.
The last test was ridden at 2.30pm on Sunday so it was a long arduous three days for all competitors, horses, ponies, volunteers and judges.
