Local trainer Shayne Cramp had a night to remember at the Mildura trots on Tuesday night, training all eight winners on the card and driving three himself for good measure.

And as if that wasn’t good enough, Cramp also trained the trifecta in the opener as well as the quinella in the third, fifth and seventh races in what is believed to be an Australian, if not world, first.
The evening got off to a flying start with Lis Marie Shadow ($3.40) taking the first event, before heavy favourite Aldebaran Brandi scored in the second and Macray Soiree saluted at $20 in the third. Reece Moore was in the sulky when Soho Jagger, another favourite, took out the fourth race before piloting home Cenosilocophobia in the last.
In the interim Cramp drove home Philtra Phella ($1.30) and Hargrave ($1.10) in the fifth and sixth events before father Greg got the chocolates on Intransit ($2.40) in the penultimate race of the meeting. Cramp snr also had the reins for Aldebaran Brandi’s win.
‘‘Absolutely fantastic. It's just unbelievable,’’ Shayne Cramp told Harness Racing Victoria.
"We've got six before but to get eight winners, that's just unheard of.
"It was a fantastic effort from all the team."
