TWO vehicles parked in Jim Anderson Avenue were targeted by thieves earlier this week.
According to Young Police the thieves were attempting to syphon fuel and in doing so damaged the fuel caps of each car.
If residents saw anyone acting suspiciously between the hours of 7pm Monday and 8am Tuesday, they are asked to call Young Police on 6382 8199.
Teenager stomps his own vehicle
POLICE were called on Tuesday morning to deal with a local teenager who had become angry with his car.
The incident was reported around 11.50am on Tuesday after a 19-year-old male was observed to be becoming enraged with his car when it wouldn’t start outside a local business.
The male and some of his friends began to jump on the bonnet and hood of the vehicle.
Police were called to the scene, but on arrival found nobody there but the car, which had no responded to their owners efforts.
No action was taken against the owner as it was his own vehicle.
