The lightly built Tom Temay, defender Andrew McInnes and rookies Jaryd Cachia and Luke Reynolds were delisted.
This brings the number of changes to seven, with Heath Scotland and Nick Duigan already retired and Josh Bootsma sacked through the year.
McInnes managed 17 senior matches, having been a fourth-round pick in the 2010 national draft. Cachia logged 14 senior matches but all came in 2013 when he was named as the club's best first-year player. This had been his second stint at the club.
Carlton football department chief Andrew McKay said all players had made a contribution to the club.
The Blues are still awaiting a decision from Jarrad Waite on whether he will accept the club's contract offer.
