AN infringement notice has been issued to a 69-year-old Young man after an accident on the Olympic Highway at the weekend.

According to police reports, about 8.30am on Saturday the man was travelling north along the Olympic Highway in a Nissan X-Trail when he attempted to turn right into Apps Lane.
In doing so, he crossed into the path of an oncoming Toyota Hilux.
The force of the resulting collision sent the X-Trail into a 180 degree spin, while the Hilux speared off onto the shoulder of the road.
NSW Ambulance officers attended the scene to check both drivers with no injuries reported.
Both vehicles were towed and breath tests came back negative.
Attempted break-in to club shed
YOUNG Pony Club has had to deal with an attempted break-in at its storage shed in McDonells Road.
The incident is believed to have occured between 6.30pm Monday, September 8 and 8am on Saturday, September 13.
The shed is located in McDonells Road.
No entry was gained and it appears nothing was stolen.

Fighting leads to infringement
A YOUNG man has been issued with a criminal infringement notice after an incident in Main Street on Sunday morning.
Police were called in after it was reported two men were fighting in the street.
As they arrived one of the men fled the scene, leaving an 18-year-old for police to speak to.
He was issued the infringement notice as a result of his actions.
