Jenny and Gino Polimeni started Gino’s Fruit and Veg eight years ago and in that time have built a loyal following of customers throughout the district, including here in Cootamundra.

Gino’s success lies in the business’ commitment to personal service and their home delivery service, not to mention quality fruit and vegetables.

Mrs Polimeni said that in eight years, Gino has never missed a trip to the Sydney markets early on a Tuesday morning to bring home quality produce.

In a town of 220 people, the business now delivers fruit and vegetables to customers in seven district towns, travelling up to 1000 kilometres a week.

She said it felt good to have their business recognised and thanked the Chamber of Commerce for the award.
