Two local people were airlifted to hospital on Friday afternoon after having to be freed from their vehicle following a head-on collision on Memagong Lane, west of Young.

NSW Police and paramedics were called to the accident at 1.24pm to reports of a crash involving two four-wheel drive vehicles
The accident occurred about three kilometres from where the lane intersects with the Milvale Road.
NSW Fire and Rescue crews attended to assist in helping to free the trapped occupants.
The Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter was tasked to the scene and arrived at about 2.45pm.
The 48-year-old female passenger was the most severely trapped and the last to be freed from the wreckage.
A NSW ambulance spokesperson reported the woman has suffered chest injuries and was in a serious but stable condition before being cut out of the car.
She was later airlifted to Canberra Hospital.
They also said a 70-year-old driver – who was initially trapped in his vehicle – sustained minor limb injuries.
Police said the man was also airlifted to Canberra Hospital.
Initial reports indicated both patients airlifted sustained head injuries.
A 22-year-old driver of a Landcruiser, also from Young, sustained minor facial injuries and was taken to Young Hospital.
Young Police inspector Ashley Holmes said investigations into the accident were ongoing.
He confirmed police would be interviewing both drivers.
