According to Senior Constable Mick Wood police were patrolling Elizabeth Street around 11.10pm last Thursday when they noticed a 22-year-old man made an offensive gesture towards them.
When asked why he made the gesture towards police the man used offensive language to communicate his dislike of police.
After being warned about his offensive language, the man began to take his clothes off as he believed police were going to search him anyway.
The man took his pants off and began to play with his genitals.
He was issued with two criminal infringement notices for offensive language and offensive behaviour.
