After 88 shows Australia-wide, three music videos and having moved out of home, Young country singer Sami Cooke will be capping off a very busy milestone year come December.

The 18-year-old has been on the road with her first Australian album tour since February.
She completed 43 shows over 18 weeks in Queensland before heading home for a two week rest.
NSW has been the focus of her most recent tour - and tonight Sami will be performing her 77th show in Nambucca Heads on the mid-north coast.
Then it’s back home again on November 18 for another two weeks rest before hitting the road one last time for the year on December 5, heading back north to the central coast until December 14.
“And then we start all over again next year,” Sami laughed.
But next year will a little less hectic, with mini tours planned from her new home base of Canberra.
But even while she’s been resting Sami was hard at work, using the breaks to film music videos of songs from her new album.
Turning to the local service of Dean Kinlyside at Neon Media, she filmed her first video Click of Her Fingers at a Temora Road homestead in February.
During her most recent break in September, Dean and Sami headed out to the Wombat Hall to film her second video Every Passing Minute.
They also utilised the dancing moves of locals Rachel Walker and David Butt for this filming.
The videos have been uploaded to Youn Tube with reasonable success.
“Every Passing Minute had 1000 views on You Tube in five days, which is cool,” Sami said.
“It will be airing on the Country Music Channel in December.”
She’ll be filming her third video Still Searching - her anti-bullying song - when she’s home next month.
“We’re not sure where we’re doing that yet but we’re thinking of contacting Young High School and filming some parts there,” Sami said.
“It’s awesome, it’s so much fun, you feel like a superstar… and Dean’s great, he knows what to do and it always turns out exactly how I want it.”
She also used her time here in September to be the support act of her former Capital Country Music Association Academy vocal teacher Amber Lawrence during a show at the Young Services Club.
She also appeared at the hugely popular Wombat Bike Rally.
Sami said she always loved coming home to sing because the town was so supportive of her music.
The former Young High student will kick off her 2015 shows at the Tamworth Country Music Festival in January where, for the first time, she’ll be performing her own ticketed shows.
