A 51-year-old woman had to be freed from her overturned car when a driver failed to give way to her on Wombat Street just after midday.

She escaped serious injury and was treated by paramedics on the scene before being transported to hospital for further observation.
Police said a 27-year-old woman from China failed to give way at Wombat Street and collided with the Toyota Prado, causing it to roll over.
Emergency services were on the scene at the intersection of Wombat and Berthong Street at 12.05pm.
She was trapped in her car for about half an hour, before being freed by NSW Fire and Rescue.
Police said the vehicle was smoking when they arrived.
Traffic in Wombat Street and the Berthong Street intersection was being diverted.
The 27-year-old driver was issued an infringement notice for failing to give way.
