The Marketplace will highlight the best produce and chefs as part of Tourism Australia’s Restaurant Australia campaign, where 250 international chefs and critics, domestic journalists, bloggers and industry stakeholders are expected to attend.
Member for Burrinjuck Katrina Hodgkinson congratulated the couple when announcing the exciting news for the Hilltops region last week.
“Kai and Adrian’s selection to showcase their produce and represent NSW is a testament to the quality of the food products that can be found in the Young region,” she said.
Kai and Adrian will present Supreme and Merchant cherries as part of a two dish menu at The Marketplace, which will be served alongside other NSW products such as cheese, rye and sorrel from Robertson and venison from Orange.
The Levett’s will join two other Burrinjuck producers, Alto Misto Olives from Crookwell and Robin Rowe Chocolates from Murrumbateman, who are providing items for a promotional bag handed out at the event.
A gala dinner will follow the Marketplace, where more of the best of Australia’s food and wine will be showcased by two legendary NSW chefs Neil Perry and Peter Gilmore.
NSW Minister for Regional Tourism John Barilaro said the event will give guests a chance to experience some of the excellent produce that NSW has to offer.
“NSW is Australia’s number one food and wine destination, and this event is a great opportunity for our regional producers to show the quality of their products to an international audience,” Mr Barilaro said.
