This question follows Wednesday's front page story of concerned Monteagle residents about the services they receive at their village landfill.

They claim the 40 or so 240 litre bins available to them are in a constant state of overflow - as is the metal recycling container - and they maintain they aren’t getting emptied as often as they should.
One resident said the situation was forcing them to either leave their garbage on the ground beside the bins - which incurs a $110 fine - or take it back home.
However council’s strategic services and environmental director Craig Filmer said residents weren't using all the bins, blaming it on busyness or laziness of users who were just dumping their garbage on the ground.
He agreed that the matter was a “vicious cycle”, saying that nobody would drive over the garbage on the ground to get to the empty bins at the back.
“[We’re fining the residents] because we’re finding empty bins."
Reports have also come in that the Murringo tip once experienced a similar situation.
A Murringo resident said that was until the bins were replaced with skip bins.
"Now the situation is so much better. Why this hasn't been adopted elsewhere is a mystery?"
