A 67-year-old visitor to Young was assaulted and robbed in broad daylight at the male public toilets in Anderson Park on Tuesday afternoon.

Between 4pm and 5pm on Tuesday the man, of Paringa in South Australia, returned to his vehicle after shopping in the town’s CBD when he decided to use the public facilities located at the western end of the Visitor Information Centre.
As he was about to leave the toilets he was confronted by two males who knocked him to the ground and stole his wallet from the pocket of his shorts.
Police say the man, who had been working as a cherry picker in the district since November 17, suffered lacerations to his forehead and right elbow, swelling to his forehead and shock.
One of the males was described as 5'8" tall, stocky build with dark skin, dark short cropped spiky hair and unshaven. He was wearing a white t-shirt and navy blue shorts,
The other male is described as 6' tall, muscular, lanky build with short dark hair and tanned skin.
About 8.50pm police were called to McLerie Street in Young where the wallet had been located.
