Cassie Henderson, 31, appeared at Wagga Local Court on Wednesday charged with damaging property by fire (greater than $15,000), damaging or destroying property (less than $2000) and common assault.
Police allege Henderson started the fire on December 3 in four separate locations within the house with an aerosol can and cigarette lighter, following an argument with her 44-year-old partner.
Police said the man - who had left the house after the domestic dispute - returned home to find the weatherboard house alight.
Henderson, who appeared via audio visual link, was remanded in custody and did not enter any pleas to the charges.
Her case was adjourned to Young Local Court on January 20 for reply to brief.
