“Christmas can be such a busy time that we often let its true meaning pass by,” Corps Leader Laurie Anderson said.
“We’re asking people to stop and take time to breathe this Christmas season.”
The Salvation Army in Young and region is inviting the community to connect with it and take part in a variety of different activities over the Christmas period.
Head along to the Combined Churches Christmas Lunch to be held at midday on Christmas Day at the Catholic Church in Campbell Street.

“Everyone is welcome to join with us at Christmas time,” Corps Leader Laurie Anderson said.
“At the Salvation Army we believe that no one should have to go it alone and this Christmas we want to invite the local community to become part of something that’s bigger than ourselves.”
