In fact, we're going to do it every day of the week so local drivers can see where the cheapest fuel in town is.
We've also gathered surrounding areas, as well as Sydney prices, to compare.
These are the prices in Young for today, January 13. The district prices are the average prices recorded by NRMA yesterday.
We began our mission to showcase the fuel prices in town yesterday for the benefit of motorists who feel country people are getting ripped off at the bowser.
All fuel stations in Young but one have kept their prices the same compared to yesterday's.
Interestingly, BP has dropped theirs by five cents today - from 134.9 cents to 129.9 cents.
Around the district and beyond both the average prices in Wagga and Sydney have slightly dropped today from yesterday's unleaded prices.
Wagga now sits on 130.0 cents, 0.3 cents cheaper than yesterday, and Sydney at 110.0 cents, 0.5 cents cheaper than yesterday.
The price in Forbes has risen by 2.3 cents today because we're displaying the average unleaded petrol price around the town. Yesterday we listed only the Shell Service Station unleaded price (115.9 cents).
