As a committee we are always looking for umpires, new teams, coaches and most of all volunteers to assist in providing another successfull competition of netball.
The Summer Competition will begin shortly and we hope to see all the teams back again and some brand new ones. Come along for a giggle and some fun plus a night out.
Registrations will be held on Monday, February 2 from 5pm until 7.30pm. All teams are required to hand in team form and nomination payment. All teams must delegate an umpire when entering teams.
All player registration is due on Monday, February 2. Forms can be downloaded from the website.
Just a reminder that all team nominations will only be accepted with payment for the competition.
All individual registrations need to be paid on Monday, February 2.
The competition commences on Monday, February 16.
The fees for the 2015 season are:
Senior: $85. Junior: $65. Netsetgo: $55. Non-player: $45.
Team nominations: Seniors: $230. Juniors: $170. Netsetgo: $130.
Netsetgo will commence on Monday, February 23 and caters for children from the ages of five to 10 years.
The children will learn all the basic skills in netball.
Umpires required!
Without someone on the sideline to blow a whistle we cannot have games.
If you are interested we can provide training, guidance and coaching for all who wish to pick up a whistle.
The association will be holding a basic umpiring day shortly. Please check the website for further details.
Representative selection for 2015 will take place on Monday, February 2.
The teams selected will contest State and State Age Championships in July. The 11s will attend Sunday carnivals throughout the representative season.
All players are required to bring a drink bottle and sunscreen.
If unable to attend please contact Rachel Douglas for further instructions.
All successful players will be notified on the website.
Times have been allocated for selections:
11, 12s and 13s: 4.30pm.
14s and 15s: 5.30pm.
17s and Opens: 6.30pm.
The association still requires representative coaches for the 2015 season.
All nominations must be in by Tuesday, January 27.
Current coaching qualifications and working with children check must accompany application.
NSW Netball will be conducting a Foundation Coaching Course on Sunday, February 15.
All participants must complete the online course of Community Coaching General Principles Course through the Australian Sports Commission.

Completion of the online course participants will have the opportunity to print off a certificate.
Copies of the certificate must be submitted to the presenter on the course date.
Participants must be registered members of Netball NSW and must be a minimum age of 14 years.
The course costs $90 per person and is via the online registration process. The duration of the course is approximately five hours.
Any non-attendance by participants will not be refunded.
The next meeting for the association will be held on Tuesday, January 27 at 6pm at the meeting room of the Empire Hotel.
