It's also the second time all six stations are charging below 120 cents for unleaded petrol, bringing Young's average to 118.4 cents per litre.
These are the prices in Young for today, January 23. The district prices are the average prices recorded by NRMA yesterday.
We've been comparing local fuel prices from last Monday to Friday, which averaged between 124 cents and 132 cents per litre for unleaded petrol.
Young's average today is 0.2 cents cheaper than yesterday's average.
It's also the fourth consecutive day our average price is lower - according to NRMA statistics - than that of Temora, whose average remains at 119.9.
However it's no longer less than Yass' average who was charging 117.8 yesterday, dropping two cents overnight.
But Young remains two cents cheaper than the Canberra average, who was charging an average 120.7 cents for unleaded fuel yesterday.
Our average still sits just over 15 cents higher than Sydney's average of 102.6.
Sydney's average continues to fall by an average of 1.08 cents per day.
It's Caltex again today who takes the title for reducing their unleaded price the most (by 10 cents) compared to last Friday when they were charging 129.9.
Yesterday was the first time since January 12, the Boorowa/Zouch Street station has dropped their price below the $1.20 mark, maintaining their rate at 119.9 cents.
Shell is the only local station whose price has reduced today, taking one cent off yesterday's price to make 118.9 and charging eight cents less than last week.
BP is charging nine cents less than last Friday remaining at 117.9 and Woolie is seven cents less, also remaining at 116.9
Both the Road House and Mobil remain at 116.9 and 119.9 repectively, the same as they were last Friday.
Around the district - Cootamundra is 0.7 of a cent less than Wednesday (124.7) and Forbes 0.6 cent less (114.8).
Temora continues to charge an average of 119.9 cents per litre.
