Some individual service stations are as much as 20 cents cheaper than what they were charging on January 12.
And are between one and four cents less compared to last Thursday.
Here are today's petrol prices around Young. The district prices, to help local motorists compare, are the average prices recorded by NRMA yesterday. We've been unable to collect Harden's prices.
Young's average petrol price now sits at its lowest yet since the campaign began at 116.9 cents per litre.
January 12's average was 132.9 cents.
Most local stations have remained consistent with their prices over the last few days.
However the highlight today is BP reducing their unleaded 91 and ethanol price by three cents overnight to charge 114.9.
The company has also claimed the cheapest price in town today, surpassing long-term leaders the Road House and Mobil (unleaded) by one cent.
BP is also two cents cheaper than Woolworths E10 price of 116.9.
It's the first time in eight days BP's price has shifted from 117.9 cents per litre.
Young's average remains less than Canberra (by 0.5 of a cent) and Temora (2.3 cents).
But we're 2.4 cents dearer than Yass and 5.1 cents more than Forbes.
And we still sit more than 15 cents higher than Sydney's average of 101.4.
However for the first time since January 12 Sydney's average rose by 0.3 of a cent on Tuesday.
It followed almost an average fall of 0.5 to one cent per day in the city.
