Individual service stations are between 15 and 20 cents cheaper than what they were charging on January 12.
And are between one and four cents less compared to last Thursday and Friday.
Here are today's petrol prices around Young. The district prices, to help local motorists compare, are the average prices recorded by NRMA yesterday. We've been unable to collect Harden's prices.
For a second consecutive day, Young has recorded its lowest average petrol price since the campaign began at 116.06 cents per litre.
It's 0.84 of a cent less than yesterday.
January 12's average was 132.9 cents.
Over the last week and a half most of Young's stations have remained consistent with their prices.
But today we see another change.
Half of the stations in town today have dropped their prices again.
Yesterday's highlight was BP reducing their unleaded 91 and ethanol price by three cents overnight to charge 114.9.
It was the first time in eight days BP's price shifted from 117.9 cents per litre.
They claimed the cheapest price in town yesterday, surpassing long-term leaders the Road House and Mobil (unleaded) by one cent.
That was until Woolworths dropped their E10 price by two cents this morning to also charge 114.9.
Caltex also reduced their unleaded price by two cents to now charge 117.9, and Shell by one cent to sit on 116.9.
Young's average remains less than Canberra (by 1.24 cents) and Temora (2.84 cents).
But we're still 1.5 cents dearer than Yass and 4.6 cents more than Forbes.
And we still sit more than 15 cents higher than Sydney's average of 101.0.
Sydney's average is at its lowest since January 12.
For the first 11 days of our campaign Sydney prices fell by 0.5 to one cent per day.
Around the district the average unleaded prices have been falling by 0.1 to two cents almost every day.
