One of the nine winning tickets from the Valentine's Day Saturday Lotto draw was sold at Hunters last week, with the unsuspecting holder of that ticket soon to be a cool $2.2 million richer.
The ticket was sold as an unregistered entry and the buyer of the ticket has yet to come forward to claim their prize.
"Everyone needs to check their wallets, handbags and on the floors of their ute and bring the winning ticket in," Hunters owner Scott Woodhouse said.
On the counter at the lotteries register at Hunters, a Buddha statue sits perched and customers rub its tummy for good luck.
Mr Woodhouse said the statue got plenty of rubs from customers, and with two multimillion-dollar wins at Hunters this year already, there may be some merit in the superstition.
He believes it's just coincidence though.
Staff at Hunters were shocked to receive notification of yet another big win so soon after the last. Mr Woodhouse said he initially believed it was an error with the system.
"We thought we must have been reading an old memo," he said.
Unlike the travelling couple who purchased the last winning ticket at Hunters, Mr Woodhouse believes the lucky winners this time around are more likely to be from Wagga.
"I guess there's not as many people travelling (at this time of year) than when we sold the last one," he said.
"It's probably more likely to be a local than a traveller."
The last winning ticket prior to this weekend sold at Hunters won $2.7 million in Saturday Lotto's $30 million megadraw on January 3.
That win sparked a hunt for the couple who purchased it, who took 12 days to come forward and claim their prize.
