The day will be held in conjunction with the club’s sign-up day, as well as a fundraiser for cherry queen entrant Ebony Hackett, with proceeds going to the Young Crisis Accomodation Centre.
It’s going to be a big day for the Bears as First Grade and the newly-formed league tag team come up against Young’s Under 16s, and the Burrangong Grizzlys.
The Burrangong Grizzlys consist of former Burrangong players who have reformed for the match on the weekend.
“Hopefully it’s a little bit entertaining for people watching - it’s played in good spirit and hopefully everyone gets behind it, gets up there and makes a donation as it all goes to charity,” club president Peter “Scratcher” Hall said.
The club encourages anyone wishing to play to contact secretary Priscilla Edgerton on 0488 681 116.
The club invites the community down to Cranfield Oval on Sunday, March 29 at 1.30pm for what is guaranteed to be a great afternoon of football.
A barbecue will be available, as well as a gold coin entry fee.
The first round of the Woodbridge Cup is set to commence on Sunday, April 12 at Eugowra.
