If you were lucky enough, you would have received a visit from Jennifer Duddle from the Young Community Hub, who dressed up as an Easter bunny.
She walked the main street with a basket, a painted face and cotton ball ears handing out chocolate eggs.
Why she chose to do it came about from a woman’s reaction last year when Jennifer just went shopping with a painted bunny face.
“I do it at the Hub with the children,” Jennifer said.
“Last year I went shopping afterwards and I still had the face paint on. One woman in the shop said to me she was having such a bad day but when she saw my face it cheered her up.”
So this year, when Jennifer had some eggs left over, she wanted to bring some more Easter cheer by giving eggs to the elderly and stopping by some businesses.
