According to captain coach Luke Branighan attitude will be key in overcoming the Junee Diesels.
“Junee have been fairly good over the preseason and had a good win last week against Wagga Brothers,” he said.
“We’ve always had trouble against Junee, especially at their home ground, but at the same time we will worry about our own back yard - if we get that right we will be in with a chance to win the game.”
The ‘Pickers will once again be at full strength and will take advantage of their attacking options.
“We’re going to get better each week with new combinations,” Branighan said.
Meanwhile Branighan is keeping in mind the predicted forecast.
“It’s probably going to be played in heavy conditions, so we’ll need to be smart with the ball and kick well,” he said.
The ‘Pickers will head to Laurie Daley Oval, Junee on Sunday for Round 2 of the competition.
