But good news for local motorists is that Sydney's average unleaded petrol price has returned to a 138.7, after sitting below the town's average for only five business days.
Which means we're now paying 12.1 cents less than city people.
Sydney surpassed Young on Thursday when they jumped up 6.4 cents to charge 130.7 cents per litre.
On Sunday they increased by a further 8.2 cents.
Another area that hasn't budged in their average for some time now is Forbes, who is stuck on an average of 127.5 cents.
Their average hasn't changed since March 30.
Temora's average has also been glued at 133.6 cents per litre for 10 business days.
