It was both a church and local effort, with members of the community donating poppies to the cause.
The poppies have been used to decorate the Anglican Church, with the alter overflowing with red Flanders fields poppies.
Organiser Judith Langfield (pictured) said she was delighted with the response people have given the group so far to help mark the special day in our history.
