But the Clean Machines made a comeback in the doubles, though they couldn’t hold off the Cobras who ran away with a 7-3 win.
Tavern Toolies were evenly matched with the Tavern’s Jan Said No, going game-for-game in the singles.
That was until the reverse singles, when Toolies went up another gear to only drop one singles game and then taking it home in the doubles to win 7-3.
Young Wannabes didn’t hold back on the Tavern Young Men only dropping two singles matches, one just around off single and the other in the reverse singles.
Young Men tried to claw their way back in the doubles but the Wannabes were too strong, winning 7-3.
Tavern Terrors were evenly matched with the Eastern Steamers going into the doubles at four all.
The terrors got good dump into the doubles winning their first two games until the Steamers came back to win the next game.
Going into the last game of doubles the Terrors put a stop to the steamers and won 7-5.
