The youngster headed to Temora on Tuesday, June 23 for the competition.
Students were required to present a prepared speech on a given topic, followed by an impromptu speech.
Young Public principal Neil Muir said Elisabeth did very well with her prepared speech titled, “Every Family has a Story”.
The adjudicator said Elisabeth’s impromptu speech on the topic of “Bigger is better” was exceptional, and she gained first place overall.
“Congratulations to Elisabeth,” Mr Muir said.
The Riverina finals will be held in Wagga in August.
