The ‘Stomp for David’ team will head to Sydney for the final stage of their fundraising campaign to raise over $20,000 for MND research.
The challenge requires participants to walk up, down and around the SCG and Allianz Stadium.
“They say you can do it in 70 minutes, or 30 in the half an hour of power...which we aren’t doing - we’re just going in and doing it,” organiser Katrina Bannister said.
The team - consisting of Karen Thornhill, Michelle Cronin, Katrina, Louise McKnight, Tarnia Flett, Alison King, Jess Pauley, (absent) Kai Frame, Sherrie Sellings, and Shane and Megan Flett - haven’t exactly prepared for the challenge.
“No preparation, we’re just going to show up,” Katrina said.
“We’re going to be in a world of hurt, we will make it though.”
