Educational Pathways head teacher Karen Ward, Nursing Studies head teacher Gale Cowled and Welfare teacher Catherine Cusack were part of a group of 13 educators honoured for their service to the TAFE NSW Riverina Institute last week.
Each are celebrating their 20th year.
While last week’s ceremony was held at Wagga campus, the local teachers will receive their certificates at a smaller presentation at the Young campus.
Relieving Institute director Terri Connellan said the loyalty, and passion shown by these staff members was humbling and was testament to their dedication towards the students, and the education sector as a whole.
“I am delighted to be able to share this momentous occasion with them and their families,” she said.
