A number of chainsaws, a hydraulic block splitter, whipper snipper and mulcher were stolen by person/s who forced their way into a rear shed on the property.
Inspector Ashley Holmes of Young Police said the victim returned home to discover a padlock missing from previously locked garage.
He said a witness had reported seeing a large white Hiace Van parked in the driveway of the premises during the weekend.
Forensic investigators were fingerprinting the scene but police have asked members of the public who may have more information to call them on 6382 8199.
Shop window damaged
POLICE would also be interested to hear from anyone who might be able to shed light on the malicious damage of a property in the Mill Court shopping centre.
A large courtyard facing window of a beauty therapy shop was damaged some time between 5pm Friday, August 21 and 9am Monday, August 24.
Estimated value of the damage was $2000.
Police are investigating the incident with CCTV footage currently being reviewed.
