The blooms, which certainly brightened Young’s Uniting Church Hall at the weekend, had travelled from as far away as Narrandera, Wagga and Albury, as well as the Young district for the show.
Des and Ginette Klemke from Albury scooped the pool, winning both the Champion and Reserve Champion bloom categories with their magnificent Courtesan and Dr Clifford Parkes blooms.
They also won the Champion Reticulata with their Dr Clifford Parkes.
Local camellia grower Jan Affleck took out the Champion Collection of the show with three beautiful Volunteer blooms.
Budding local grower Trevor Pulham was also successful with his Volunteer variety winning two classes.
Once again Lesley Watson and Elizabeth Baker displayed some very eyecatching arrangements with their camellias.
A big thank you was extended to the band of industrious helpers who worked tirelessly over the four days and also to the many entrants who brought in blooms.
Without either, organisers said they couldn’t run such a successful show.
