According to Young Police intruders gained entry to a house on a property while the residents were sleeping and made off with various personal items including wallets and mobile phones.
The thieves also gained entry to unlocked vehicles at the property, removing other personal items including handbags.
The theft is believed to have occurred between 1am-4am Thursday.
A caravan belonging to Young Shire Council, parked on the side of the road, was also broken into, with thieves making off with the air conditioning unit.
Young Police would like to hear from anyone who may have noticed anything suspicious in the area that night.

POLICE were called in to escort NSW Ambulance paramedics to Young District Hospital after they picked up a man who had been behaving erratically.
The man, an 18-year-old local, was seen to punch and head butt trees, as well as throwing rocks at houses around 3.20pm last Thursday on Campbell Street, near the intersection of Back Creek Road.
He is believed to have been under the influence of drugs.
