Bribbaree Show Trust president, Ian Murphy and treasurer Pat Potbury were rapt with the day of events.
"We had bigger crowds than we have ever had before," said Mr Murphy.
"This was largely due to the support of our sponsors and volunteers from Young, Grenfell and surrounding areas who have really made a huge effort this year to turn the event into the best on record.
"Every event - from the Stockman's Challenge, horse jumping and team penning - all had higher than normal participation levels and also proved popular with spectators," he said.
For Pat Potbury, the show was also proof of all the hard work done especially by volunteers.
"We couldn't have done this without the tireless work from our volunteers and the backing of sponsors," she said.
"These are the lifeblood of any community and anyone involved with any country organisation knows how important volunteers and sponsors are.
"Such an effort meant that not only was the event well supported but it allowed us to really promote the show and attract a greater variety of stall holders and also crowds."
In addition to attendances being up, the Bribbaree Show Trust have been buoyed by the financial injection into the event as well.
"Our gate takings were over $8000 with an increase of just over $1000 from 2014 and we had more campers and more participants across the board," said Pat.
Highlights from the weekend included old favourites like the children's lolly scramble as well as more recent additions such as an animal farm, toddlers play area, farmer's challenge and the Tug 'O War which was won by the Potbury and Douglas families for a record third straight year.
"The improvement overall was remarkable and everyone has commented on how tremendous this year's show was," said Pat.
"Again we have to thank everyone from the Young regional community for making this a reality. Next year promises to be even bigger and better still!"
