The classes, being run by Annette’s Place Preschool and Childcare Centre, are to be held at the Young Library starting Friday, November 13 at 9.30am.
The weekly classes, run by teacher Heather Ruhl, are aimed at developing children’s early language and literacy by using singing, music, rhythm and rhyme, in a fun and stimulating way.
The interactive session will run for 20-30 minutes.
Annette’s Place director, Kathryn Simpson said singing and rhyming promote a child’s communication and voice development, and assists with their emotional well-being.
“The Baby Bounce program is lots of fun for parents, care-givers and babies,” she said.
The popular Baby Bounce program contributed to a recent NSW Department of Education finding that Annette’s Place had exceeded industry-set expectations in all seven National Quality Standards for childcare services.
