Daniel Hughes belted an unbeaten triple century in a Futures League match on Wednesday but NSW selectors will stick with Ben Rohrer for their Sheffield Shield match at the SCG on Friday.

Hughes' mammoth dig of 300 from 471 balls broke the record for the highest score in a Futures League match.
The record was ironically held by Rohrer, who earlier this year plundered 276 against ACT at his club home ground of Rosedale Oval.
Despite the knock NSW coach Trent Johnston said Rohrer, who has scored two ducks in his last two innings, copped a poor umpiring decision in the second innings of their last game against Tasmania which factored into the decision of giving him another chance in the middle-order.
"Rohrer has probably just got Dan [Hughes] at the moment," Johnston said. "Apart from Dan getting the 300, their scores have been quite similar this year. I've spoken to Daniel this morning and explained why he's not in the team.
"He's obviously disappointed with that, but he's okay and understands why that's happened. He batted well. He's certainly knocking on the door."
Johnston said if Stephen O'Keefe does not get picked to play in the Adelaide Test, he expects the orthodox spinner to fly back in time for the Blues' must-win game at the SCG on Friday.
O'Keefe's promotion to the Test squad has a presented a chance for crafty off-spinner Will Somerville, who stands a good chance of adding to his three first-class games last season for the Blues.

Somerville snared 5-79 off 16 overs in the Futures League match played at Coffs Harbour. Paceman Tim Ley and leg-spinner Jonte Pattison have filled the void left by Somerville and Sandhu in Coffs Harbour.
Johnston wanted Sandhu to make the trip north get some more overs under his belt because he was "short of a gallop" and said he would be happy with either Somerville or O'Keefe for the clash against Queensland.
"I think they'll probably make a decision before the morning of the game, so I think we'll get Stephen back for start the game if he doesn't play," Johnston said. "I think he deserves to be down there in the 13 and I'd certainly be playing him if he was in my [Australian] squad. If he doesn't play, we'll have him back at the SCG.
