Nic was selected for the side after a two-day trial at Campbelltown, Sydney where he represented the NSW Southern Country side.
Here he trialed against 48 others from around NSW including two metropolitan teams and the Northern NSW Country team.
But today and tomorrow he will represent NSWCCC’s Under 15s team in a bid to be further selected for the All Schools side.
Nic will play three matches over the two-day trial at Campbelltown, and if successful he will represent the side at Brisbane in 2016.
Hennessy Catholic College sports coordinator, Brendan Croese predicts Nic will be the opening bowler at the trial matches.
“Bowling is his strong point, he’s a good batsman but I think they’re picking him as a bowler,” Brendan said.
“I think he’ll go well and enjoy the opposition against the state’s best Under 15 cricketers.”
On behalf of Hennessy Brendan extended good luck wishes to the young cricketer.
“We’d like to wish Nic good luck for today’s trial, in what is already an excellent achievement,” he said.
As well as participating in state trial matches Nic has also been juggling representative duties at a local level.
He also has his sights set on making the Under 16s Western side.
