Conditions for play were much more pleasant on Saturday afternoon and 34 players were on the green.
The combination of Brian March, Colin Powell and Peter Slater did well in their game and their 13 shot margin was the best for the afternoon.
The other winning teams consisted of Steve Walsh, Jack Forbutt and Brian Madden (11 shots); Greg Woods, Darryle Miller and Vic Brown (nine shots); Garry Fish, Albert Carter and Colin Stokell (eight shots); Terry Mulligan and Tom Preston (seven shots); and Mick Manning, Tim Carpenter and Les Fanning (five shots).
None of the winning margins was the one needed to collect the $200 jackpot.
