UPDATED: A 15-YEAR-OLD boy has been charged with manslaughter following a fatal car crash that claimed the life of a pregnant woman in Hobart on Friday.

Police announced the boy was also charged with one count of stealing a motor vehicle.
He will appear in the Hobart Magistrates Court on Friday afternoon.
Police continue to investigate.
EARLIER: A PREGNANT woman is dead but her unborn baby was saved after a car crash in Hobart's CBD on Friday morning.
Police said four youths in a Toyota Rav 4 crashed into a Nissan Tida about 1am at the intersection of Davey and Argyle streets.
As a result, the 24-year-old woman, who was 32 weeks' pregnant, was killed. Her unborn child was delivered at the Royal Hobart Hospital and a two-year-old child, also in the car, received minor injuries.
The children are at the Royal Hobart Hospital receiving treatment.
Commander Glenn Frame said a 15-year-old is alleged to have been driving the Rav 4 was arrested at Kingston on Friday morning.
The three passengers, two 15-year-old boys and a 12-year-old girl were admitted to hospital for treatment.
Commander Frame said alleged the Rav 4 was stolen from Glenorchy at about 11pm on Thursday.
He expressed Tasmania Police's greatest sympathy and condolences to everyone impacted by the incident.
''It is a tragedy that is an avoidable tragedy. This is a terrible situation and our hearts go out to the family and friends of the deceased and all that are involved and impacted on by this accident,'' he said.
As part of the investigation police are seeking witnesses to the crash and in addition would encourage anyone who saw the stolen black coloured Toyota Rav (Queensland registration 013LUK) being driven in the greater Hobart area to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
